Think you know your own mind? Think again

Henry reviews the Wellcome Trust’s exhibition Brains: The Mind as Matter and explores the exhibition in an accompanying video, where he shows us some of the exhibits, including the preserved left side of Charles Babbage’s brain, and a photograph of a dead brain which looks remarkably ‘like a plate of chipolata sausages’.

Henry also examines the fascinating intricacies of the brain and the ‘mind-body problem’. His sense of wonder at the exhibit, although these are things he sees all the time, is undiminished: ‘the deeper we look into the brain, the more complicated and perhaps more incomprehensible it becomes’.
