‘In The Future of the Mind Michio Kaku confidently predicts a future of telekinesis, thought-reading and travel to the stars, all made possible by the development of technology that is already available, or at least compatible with the laws of physics. He has to steady the book down from time to time with words such as “maybe” and “perhaps”, and phrases such as “by the end of the century”, but the message is resolutely upbeat.’
